Frequently Asked Questions
How much do you charge?
Our fee varies depending on the day of the week, time of year and location of your event. Our standard package starts at £1249.
How far do you travel?
We travel both UK wide and internationally.
Do you play any public gigs?
Due to the nature of our work, we don't play many public gigs as all of the events we perform at tend to be private functions.
We try to offset this situation by making sure we have plenty of promotional material which accurately represents our performance in a live scenario.
Any public gigs that we do have will be promoted on our Facebook or Instagram and pages.
Are you insured?
Yes we have Public Liability Insurance cover up to £10M and all of our equipment is professionally PAT tested yearly.
We can send our certificates to you or your venue upon booking.
Do you have lights?
Yes we have LED lighting which covers us and the dance floor for the ultimate light show during your event.
What happens if a band member is ill on the day of our event?
In the unlikely event that a band member is ill on the day of your event, we have some of the best replacement musicians on standby to fill in.
How long do you play for?
Our standard evening package includes 2 x 60 minutes of live music and DJ music before, in-between and after our live sets. As well as our evening band sets, we also offer some acoustic options, perfect for your ceremony, drinks reception or during your meal. For more information on our acoustic upgrade options and more, visit our 'WHAT WE DO' page.
Do you have any specific requirements?
All we ask is that you're able to provide us with soft drinks and food for the duration of our time at the venue. Usually we're included in the evening food/buffet.
How and when do I pay?
We require a £200 deposit to be paid via Online Banking to secure the booking and the remaining balance is due no later than 30 days before the event.
How long does it take you to set up?
It takes us approximately 1 hour to load in, set up, soundcheck and get changed ready to start the first song.
Are noise limiters an issue?
We have a lot of experience performing at venues with sound limiters. Usually our drummer can use 'hot rod' sticks which is enough to bring our overall volume down. Unlike most bands, we also have an electric drum kit which we can also bring which allows us to have complete control over the enitre band volume.
Do you play requests?
When it comes to first dance songs, we are more than happy to consider learning it for you. It largely depends on whether the particular song fits our instrumental line up. For example, it would be difficult for us to pull off a Frank Sinatra song with a big orchestra. Upon booking, please let us know if there's a particular song you'd like us to consider learning so we have enough time to learn it well.
You can find a list of our recommended first dance songs that we've played many times before at the bottom of our 'SETLIST' page.
